Texas State Aviation
Pilots - Fixed-wing rated pilots will gain experience needed to earn their CFI/CFII/MEI ratings and teach students earning their certificates under Part 61 and Part 141. There will also be opportunities to fly single- and multi-engine aircraft in support of charity/non-profit operations. Rotor-wing rated pilots may also qualify. Aircraft Maintainers - TSAviation is partnered with on-site aircraft maintenance and may offer on-the-job experience required to pursue FAA aviation mechanic certificates.
ABOUT THE JOB
Pilot/Instructor program offers the opportunity to gain experience and flight time, and learn the ins and outs of flight school operations. The maintainer program offers the opportunity to get on-the-job experience working on several different airframes and systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gain experience needed to earn CFI/CFII/MEI ratings
- Teach students earning their certificates under Part 61 and Part 141
- Fly single- and multi-engine aircraft in support of charity/non-profit operations
- Get on-the-job experience working on several different airframes and systems
QUALIFICATIONS
- Fixed-wing rated pilots
- Rotor-wing rated pilots may also qualify
- Military fixed-wing pilots highly desired
- Military aviation maintenance experience
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY
Military fixed-wing pilots highly desired (instructor/evaluator experience, especially). Military aviation maintenance experience.
