AccuSense Assembly Technician OJT
An AccuSense Assembly Technician is a skilled professional responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting the AccuSense Toxic Gaseous Chemical Recognition System, a field-portable, lab-grade device used to detect and identify hazardous chemicals with 95% accuracy. The role involves following detailed technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering drawings to assemble complex mechanical and electrical components of the system, ensuring it meets high-quality standards for use by first responders, safety managers, and emergency planning committees. Key duties include using hand and power tools, conducting precision measurements, performing diagnostic tests to verify functionality, and maintaining accurate records of assembly processes. The technician must also adhere to safety protocols, keep the work area organized, and collaborate with team members to improve efficiency. Typically, the position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing, and proficiency in reading technical schematics. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment are essential. Knowledge of chemical detection systems or prior experience with similar technologies may be an advantage, given the specialized nature of the AccuSense system in protecting communities from toxic industrial chemical releases

QUALIFICATIONS
