Business Development Data Analyst
Our goal is to provide the Business Development Analyst SkillBridge participant with hands-on experience in data-driven market research, competitive analysis, and opportunity forecasting, equipping them with the analytical skills and tools needed to support strategic growth through actionable business intelligence.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Business Development (BD) Data Analyst supports business development efforts in the federal government sector. The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics to identify trends, support growth strategies, and drive successful federal contract bids. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights, ensuring our company remains competitive in the federal contracting space.Key Responsibilities: 1. Data Analysis & Reporting: ~Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to inform business development strategies targeting federal contracts. ~Develop dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to present key metrics and actionable insights for stakeholders ~Monitor and evaluate performance metrics related to government bids, contract wins, and agency engagements using CRM tool (Salesforce). 2. Market & Competitive Intelligence: ~ Conduct research on federal government agencies, procurement trends, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities. ~Analyze federal spending data (e.g., from USAspending.gov or FPDS) to identify new business opportunities and inform proposal development. 3. Proposal Support: ~ Provide data-driven insights to support the proposal team in responding to RFPs and RFQs. ~ Assist in the analysis of bid pricing strategies, identifying opportunities for cost reductions, and optimizing competitive positioning. ~ Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: ~ Collaborate with business development, capture management, and proposal teams to provide data insights that inform go/no-go decisions and overall pursuit strategies. ~ Present findings to senior management and government stakeholders to support decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with data analytics and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

- Experience in supporting proposal teams with data-driven insights for RFPs and RFQs.

High school diploma or equivalent. Security clearance preferred.
