RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop electrical systems for the AccuSense Toxic Gaseous Chemical Recognition System.
  • Create and optimize electrical components, circuits, and systems for reliable performance.
  • Conduct simulations and diagnostic tests to validate system functionality and safety.
  • Troubleshoot electrical system issues to ensure device accuracy in hazardous environments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD or MATLAB.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with chemical detection systems (preferred).
  • Holding or working toward a Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred).

Electrical Engineering Fundamentals: Proficiency in designing and analyzing circuits, systems, and components for reliable performance in chemical detection applications. Technical Software Proficiency: Experience with tools like AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar for circuit design, simulations, and system modeling. Simulation and Testing: Skills in conducting simulations and diagnostic tests to validate system functionality and safety. Safety and Compliance: Knowledge of electrical safety standards and protocols, critical for a device used in emergency chemical response scenarios. Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work with cross-functional teams (e.g., mechanical engineers, software developers) and clearly document technical processes. Attention to Detail: Precision in following technical specifications and ensuring quality in complex system integration. Project Management: Basic skills in managing timelines and deliverables to support product development cycles. Familiarity with Chemical Detection Systems (Preferred): Understanding of sensor technology or chemical detection systems, enhancing ability to innovate for AccuSense.
