U.S. Environmental Protection Agency EPA
Position is located in the Human Capital Division, Workforce Planning Employee Development Branch. This Branch provides expertise to ORD for human capital policy and program development and assessment, in the areas of workforce and succession planning, employee development, organizational development and diversity, equity and inclusion. This opportunity is in the area of diversity, equity and inclusion. This program is evolving and the intern would work on a variety of projects to formalize internal processes and procedures relative to DEI. Examples of work include: -Developing standard operating procedures for management of a cadre of collateral duty Special Emphasis Program Managers (i.e. Black Employment, Women's Employment, Veteran's Employment, etc.).
ABOUT THE JOB
-Developing a handbook for ORD SEPMs to carry out their responsibilities. -Establishing a standard training plan/syllabus for new SEPM's. -Developing a process to review the effectiveness of SEP programs against existing strategic DEIA initiatives of EPA and ORD. -Reviewing Management Directive 715 data for ORD and identifying opportunities for alignment of ORD SEPM and DEIA efforts to the data.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Completion of DEOMI
