ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a Customer Success Intern to support our Customer Success team. This internship offers hands-on experience in the operations behind client relationship management, sales strategy, and market research. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, gain insights into the tech industry, and develop the skills needed to excel in a fast-paced business environment. You’ll support our seasoned CS team and help them build systems of work that allow for a structured, repeatable CS approach with Federal clients. In accordance with SkillBridge policy, you will not be in a client-facing capacity with DoD customers as part of this internship, but you will support teammates who are.Key Responsibilities:Assist in identifying and researching potential clients and business opportunitiesSupport CS team in preparing for customer support engagementsHelp manage and update CRM systems with client interactionsPrepare presentations, reports, and contentConduct market research to understand industry trends and competitive landscapesCollaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for client engagement.Participate in meetings and calls with potential clients (where appropriate) to learn the CS process firsthand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in identifying and researching potential clients and business opportunities
  • Support CS team in preparing for customer support engagements
  • Help manage and update CRM systems with client interactions
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and content
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitive landscapes
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for client engagement
  • Participate in meetings and calls with potential clients (where appropriate) to learn the CS process firsthand

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong interest in scaling DoD innovation operations
  • Experience or strong interest in moving into a customer success, sales, or account management role in the tech industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY

Strong interest in scaling DoD innovation operations.Experience or strong interest in moving into a customer success, sales, or account management role in the tech industry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
