ABOUT THE JOB

Job Title: Insights & Analytics Data Engineer - Data ScientistLocation: AustinYou will work with diverse datasets to identify patterns, build analytical solutions, build and maintain data pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decision making. The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency in data analysis and data engineering with strong communication skills and curiosity for solving business problems through data.The core responsibility of this role is to build and maintain data quality monitoring systems for our data warehouse infrastructure. You will implement telemetry solutions to ensure data integrity, upgrade transformation frameworks to leverage latest features and expand automated testing capabilities, and integrate validation rules across critical data pipelines including data from enterprise-level data warehouses. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to define data quality standards and ensure system reliability.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical fieldProficiency in Python and SQL for data pipeline development and automationExperience with data transformation frameworks and automated testing practicesStrong problem-solving skills and experience with system monitoring and troubleshootingExcellent communication skills with ability to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications:Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related technical fieldExperience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data warehousing and pipeline orchestrationProficiency with data quality monitoring tools and observability frameworksExperience with CI/CD processes, version control, and infrastructure as codeKnowledge of data governance, validation frameworks, and enterprise data architecture

• Proficiency with data quality monitoring tools and observability frameworks (Preferred)
• Experience with CI/CD processes, version control, and infrastructure as code (Preferred)
