Entry Level position that performs a variety of assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies and/or build parts for such assemblies, according to work instructions. May make setups and adjustments, holding tolerances to blueprint and work instruction specifications. May perform a wide variety of complex tests, fit checks, troubleshooting, and rework on components, assemblies; data entry and suggest improvements. Monitors and verifies quality processes or other control procedures. Will also assist with inventory and cycle count.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Able to identify and properly use basic pneumatic tools such as drill motors, dotco's and countersink cutters • Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.• Prepares work to be accomplished by understanding assembly instructions, blueprints, specifications, and parts lists• Read and Interpret drawings, illustrations, specifications and identifies their relevance to the manufacturing of parts• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.• Assembles parts to subassemblies using bolts, screws, rivets, and demonstrates the proper use of adhesives.• Documents processes by properly completing production and quality forms. • Verifies all tools are in acceptable working condition including calibrated equipment and demonstrates the proper use of them• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to identify and properly use basic pneumatic tools such as drill motors, dotco's and countersink cutters.
  • Skill in positioning parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Understanding of assembly instructions, blueprints, specifications, and parts lists.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, illustrations, specifications.
  • Compliance with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Capability to assemble parts to subassemblies using bolts, screws, rivets, and adhesives.
  • Skill in documenting processes and completing production and quality forms.
  • Verification of tool and equipment condition.
