This 25-week DoD SkillBridge opportunity offers transitioning service members hands-on training in real estate sales, property management, and investment strategies. Interns will complete a state-approved real estate pre-licensing course, prepare for the licensing exam, and gain real-world experience in residential and commercial transactions, leasing, property analysis, and portfolio development. The program includes mentorship from industry professionals, capstone projects, and live deal exposure. Upon completion, participants will be equipped to launch careers in real estate, property management, or real estate investing with a strong foundation in both theory and practice.
ABOUT THE JOB
This DoD SkillBridge internship provides transitioning service members with a unique opportunity to launch a civilian career in real estate sales, investment, and property management. Over the course of 25 weeks, interns will complete a state-approved real estate pre-licensing course, gain hands-on experience with real estate transactions, and work directly with licensed professionals to support client services in both residential and commercial real estate.Interns will learn to research properties, schedule showings, assist in deal negotiations, analyze investment opportunities, and support property management operations. This internship is designed to prepare participants for a full-time Realtor or real estate professional role upon program completion.Duties and Responsibilities:• Assist with identifying and presenting real estate listings that meet client needs• Support the creation of marketing materials and listing descriptions• Schedule and coordinate property tours and showings for prospective buyers and tenants• Collaborate with agents to gather buyer/seller requirements and financial criteria• Pre-screen buyers and tenants to ensure alignment with property qualificationsQualifications:• Active-duty U.S. military member eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program• Strong interest in real estate sales, investment, property management, or entrepreneurship• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, professional environmentProgram Benefits:• Completion of a state-approved real estate pre-licensing course• Real-world exposure to both residential and commercial transactions• Training in property management systems, leasing, and investor relations• Direct mentorship from licensed Realtors and active real estate investors
