Shipper's Choice CDL Course
With Shippers' Choice of VA Inc. service members can train for their Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL). The tractor-trailer program is designed to train qualified individuals to enter the trucking industry at an entry-level position. Students are given access to over 100 different employers through paper and web applications. Each month 10 different employers send recruiters to the training school to speak with graduates. Most students receive 2 to 6 job offers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Train for Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Enter the trucking industry at an entry-level position
QUALIFICATIONS
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be able to read and speak the English language and able to record data entry and reports
- Meet the physical qualifications prescribed in the regulations and have a Department of Transportation physical form signed and completed by a physician
- Have a valid driver's license
- Not be disqualified from driving due to specified violations
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must: Be at least 21 years of age; Be able to read and speak the English language and able to record data entry and reports; Meet the physical qualifications prescribed in the regulations and have a Department of Transportation physical form signed and completed by a physician; Have a valid driver's license; Not be disqualified from driving due to specified violations; The cost of the Department of Transportation physical and learner's permit fee is up to the Service member to fulfill.
