System Administrator at Covenir

The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day support and maintenance of the organization’s internal network systems, workstations, telephony, and business applications. They work with users in the Worcester, MA and Warner Robbins, GA office, as well as with remote employees – as directed by the IT/Compliance Manager at Covenir – to ensure quality and consistency in the administration of systems.

ABOUT THE JOB

The IT Systems Administrator will:• Works with users to identify system requirements; develops processing procedures and systems modifications to meet these specifications Administer and maintain core network infrastructure• Administer and maintain Windows OS environments (including all desktop and server variants, both physical and virtual)• Support non-desktop hardware (printers, inserters, postage meter, OPEX scanner, etc.)• Imaging and updating of Covenir systems (Azure, physical or virtual)• Coordinates with managers and users to identify systems problems; assesses severity of the issues and prioritizes responses as appropriate• Training of users, where necessary, in use of hardware and software• Performance of scheduled patching and update procedures on server and infrastructure systems• Flexibility in work assignments as required, including but not limited to: network administration, helpdesk request resolution, equipment distribution, desktop/laptop/server installation and configuration, hardware/software inventory management, and hardware repair/component replacement• Works with minimal supervision• Relies on broad experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals• Requires a certain degree of creativity or latitude to accomplish position responsibilities• Performs other duties as assigned

• Availability to be ‘on call’ or work after hours as required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
