Data Steward
Data Steward responsibilities are assigned to specific personnel across a multi-level Data Stewardship hierarchy. Whether represented by a single IC element employee or by responsibilities distributed through an organizationalhierarchy, Data Stewards are legally accountable across the data lifecycle on behalf of the Originating Element for:a) Establishing protection, sharing, and governance guidelines for data and datasets within an assigned subject area.b) Maintaining data names, business definitions, data integrity rules, and domain values within an assigned subject area.c) Complying with legal and policy requirements and conforming to internal and IC data policies and data standards.d) Ensuring application of appropriate security controls.e) Analyzing and improving data quality.f) Identifying and resolving data related issues.Applicants must illustrate knowledge, experience and/or exposure in these areas and those identified in the Job Description.
ABOUT THE JOB
Data Stewards Experience in leadership would be a plus. Familiarity with Foundation data at NGA and they would understand how requirements come into the Office of Geography. Topographic data background would be optimal with an interest in data or the data science field. A person ok working under ambiguous requirements during a period of drastic change. ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must posses an active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI.
