ABOUT THE JOB

A Commercial General Contractor Estimator is primarily responsible for evaluating project costs and preparing accurate estimates for construction projects. This role involves analyzing project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to determine the quantities of materials, labor, and equipment required for a job. Estimators also gather quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, assess project risks, account for potential unforeseen expenses, and create comprehensive cost estimates. They collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide detailed and competitive bids that align with project requirements and budget constraints. This role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, construction knowledge, and the ability to interpret complex project information to generate precise cost estimates.

RESPONSIBILITIES
