Position Description: Career Support SpecialistJob SummaryWe are seeking an Career Support Specialist to provide counseling and support to soldiers on qualification and employment assistance career benefits, identifying qualification gaps, funding resources programs, and manage administrative tasks related to operations and employee management. This role requires a strong background in personnel management, specifically with military personnel, and expertise in military funding programs.
ABOUT THE JOB
Primary Duties- Counsel soldiers on qualification and career benefits, providing guidance on available programs and resources.- ensuring they meet eligibility criteria for funding programs and understand program requirements.- Perform administrative tasks related to operations management of employees, including tracking participation, managing records, and reporting on program outcomes.- Collaborate with military leadership and employment providers to ensure seamless delivery.Requirements- At least 10 years of experience in personnel management, specifically with military personnel.- Extreme familiarity with military programs, including benefits and eligibility criteria.- Strong counseling and administrative skills.- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic military environment.Desired Skills- Knowledge of military culture and protocols.- Experience with education funding benefits such as the GI Bill.- Strong organizational and communication skills.This position demands a professional with a deep understanding of military personnel management and programs, capable of providing expert counseling and administrative support.
