As a Field Service Technician intern, you will be trained to install, maintain, and repair industrial compressed air systems and pipeline distribution networks. Over the course of 12 weeks, participants will complete a progressive training program that culminates in real-world application under the guidance of experienced technicians. ABOUT THE JOB

Job Summary:As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial compressed air systems and pipeline distribution networks. This role requires hands-on technical skills, troubleshooting expertise, and a commitment to safety and customer service.Duties & Responsibilities:Install, repair, and maintain industrial compressed air machinery and distribution systemsDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system failuresConduct preventative maintenance and system inspectionsRespond to service calls in a timely manner and maintain detailed records of work completedEnsure adherence to all safety protocols and proceduresMaintain a clean and organized company vehicleProvide outstanding customer service and technical support

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, repair, and maintain industrial compressed air machinery and distribution systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system failures
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and system inspections
  • Respond to service calls in a timely manner and maintain detailed records of work completed
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or similar technical military occupational specialties (MOS/MOC)
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, working on ladders, and performing tasks in various industrial environments
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for service calls
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols
  • Comfortable using hand tools, reading schematics, and performing hands-on technical tasks
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism in customer-facing scenarios

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY

Candidates must possess prior experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or similar technical military occupational specialties (MOS/MOC).Must be physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, working on ladders, and performing tasks in various industrial environments.Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel locally for service calls.Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.Must have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols.Candidates should be comfortable using hand tools, reading schematics, and performing hands-on technical tasks.Strong communication skills and professionalism in customer-facing scenarios are essential.
