The purpose of this requirement is to provide the Air National Guard (ANG) engineering support and technical management of 10 systems to include Crestron, CYVIZ technologies and other commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) audio visual equipment and devices. These system suites were engineered and installed by the NAVAIR AV engineering department in 2022. The system types include Dual Class cross domain solutions and unclassified Audio Visual (A/V) conference room systems to include VTC and TEAMs capabilities. Two of the 10 systems support over 50 personnel and are capable of AV inputs from all individual stations. Three systems include Planar video screens of various sizes while the remaining systems use COTS monitors with capabilities that support integrated Teams and audio-visual operations. The Air National Guard Readiness Center (ANGRC) A/V systems require high level technical services that include other locations under the ANGRC AOR (areas of responsibility).
AV/VTC Technician-The Contractor shall provide AV/VTC Technician(s) who are DoD 8570.01 certified and fully qualified to perform in accordance with Section 6.0 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Technicians will deliver onsite technical support to the Air National Guard Readiness Center (ANGRC), with capabilities including the configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of audiovisual (AV) and video teleconferencing (VTC) systems. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and AV specifications; installing AV hardware, cables, flat screens, projectors, speakers, and VTC components; and conducting professional cable management. Technicians must be proficient in operating AV interfaces, touch panels, microphones, and other AV control systems. They shall also be responsible for the physical installation of equipment using power and hand tools, maintaining documentation per Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS), and supporting secure and non-secure VTC environments including SIPRNet and NIPRNet. At least 50% of technicians must hold IASE 8570.01 certification. Complex system issues requiring coding, programming, or hardware replacement will be coordinated with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for escalation to ANGRC engineering support.
