DNI’s Human Resources Coordinator serves as primary resources for data entry, filing, and timecard review. The HRC must maintain accurate HRIS data for benefits/payroll and ensure compliance with all state and federal employment laws. This position serves as a support role for the Human Resources Department.
ABOUT THE JOB
Daily duties include but are not limited to: Onboarding new employees in our HRIS systems to meet the deadlines of their start date and any changes that come through. Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Filing all employee paperwork into employees personnel and confidential files. Following up with HR Generalist regarding missing paperwork. Offboarding employees in our HRIS systems in accordance with their last day and after direction is received from payroll they may be terminated in the systems. Work with HR Generalists to keep employee tracking spreadsheets updated and make necessary changes in HRIS systems. Responding to employment verifications as directed. Periodic duties include but are not limited to: Reviewing payroll semi-monthly and weekly to ensure accuracy of timecards and to identify any exceptions; sending reviewed timecards to Payroll for processing. Participating in developing department goals, objectives and systems; assisting in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Special projects including organizing electronic personnel files, tracking and verifying EEO-1 information, completing I9 audit. Provides clerical support to the HR department. Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field1 – 2 years HR Experience.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- 1 – 2 years HR Experience
