SkillBridge Opportunity: Global Logistics CoordinatorDepartment: GS DeliveryPosition Reports To: Delivery LeadershipRemote Type: Full RemoteFull-Time Pay Rate: $24 per hour (upon completion of SkillBridge)Ideal Time Zones: Candidates should ideally be situated in the Mountain or Pacific time zones.General Description:The Global Logistics Coordinator (GLO) role at TEKsystems Global Service (TGS) provides essential support to global engagement teams by coordinating travel logistics, procurement, onboarding, and other engagement requirements. This role involves close collaboration with internal cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery operations, compliance processing, and timely issue resolution. The GLO acts as a control point for real-time updates and escalations, ensuring that consultants are properly equipped and aligned with expectations.This position will initially start as an external consultant, with the intention to convert to a full-time internal employee within 12 months, contingent on consistent performance evaluation and the ability to positively contribute to the workforce.
ABOUT THE JOB
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:• Communicate and coordinate engagement requirements for consultant teams with global recruiters.• Order and track supplies, mobile/laptop equipment, safety equipment/PPE.• Coordinate events, meetings, travel logistics, and expenses.• Support Salesforce requisitions and procurement ordering.• Manage logistics for onboarding new consultants and employees.• Collaborate with stakeholders and third parties to resolve issues.• Provide administrative support to service delivery leaders.• Review and cascade project work breakdown packages to recruiters and consultants.• Partner closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding processes and progress tracking/reporting in enterprise systems to meet operational level agreements (OLAs).• Communicate and coordinate with consultants on engagements, ensuring schedule compliance and distributing work-scripts and rules of engagement.• Implement and execute contingency plans for resource conflicts (materials & personnel).• Provide comprehensive documentation and real-time tracking of project status, interactions, and escalations for global delivery and talent recruiting teams.• Serve as the control point for posting and maintaining documentation related to engagements.• Manage and document travel logistics for consultants in the field.• Maintain a working knowledge of active customers, engagements, and Global Services processes.• Collaborate with Engagement Managers, Compliance Managers, vendors, and consultants to communicate expectations and quickly resolve delays.Behavioral Competencies and Responsibilities:• Collaborates: Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.• Action Oriented: Takes on new opportunities and challenges with urgency and enthusiasm.• Communicates Effectively: Delivers clear communications tailored to different audiences.• Instills Trust: Gains confidence and trust through honesty and integrity.Required Experience:• 1+ years of related experience or military experience • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English).• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.• Effective time management and organizational skills.• Collaboration skills.Preferred Experience:• Associate’s degree.• Relevant military experience is preferred.• Experience in the IT industry.This SkillBridge opportunity is ideal for candidates with a military background, seeking to transition into a civilian career while leveraging their skills in logistics and operations management within an innovative and fast-paced environment.
