A member of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Logistics team supports CISAs efforts to enhance the security, resiliency, and reliability of the Nation’s cyber and physical infrastructure. Students will learn the centralized logistics programs that support a diverse mission and workforce that spans the entire nation.

ABOUT THE JOB

This role is located the in Arlington/Ballston/NCR. You will be joining Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA)/Cyber Security Division (CSD)/Vulnerability Management (VM) Sub-Division/ Business Management (BM) Branch as a member of the Performance Analysis & Evaluation (PA&E) team. This team supports CISA’s efforts to enhance the security, resiliency, and reliability of the Nation’s cyber infrastructure. The service member will participate in a 180-day program where they will improve organizational performance and identify areas of standardization and improved performance and analysis reporting within VM, and gain hands on experience with performance management, presentation and communication, and change/conflict management skills. Assist in the planning, development and implementation of VM strategic goals and measures to effectively monitor and report performance metrics and activities and ensure VM is on track to meet strategic goals. Work across groups, collaborating internally with identified and interested VM and CSD POCs on performance, strategic and analysis activities. Assist with the internal training of employees on how best to engage and coordinate across multiple internal and external teams to VM. Collaborates with senior subdivision leadership to capture feedback, reviews and approvals of monthly, quarterly and/or yearly performance reporting. Assist with the design, coding, and maintenance of the PA&E SharePoint based application UIs (look and feel), coding or altering custom web parts/modules, the development/maintenance of applications. Proactively identify solutions to existing challenges in a collaborative manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work across groups, collaborating internally with identified and interested VM and CSD POCs on performance, strategic, and analysis activities.
  • Assist with the internal training of employees on how best to engage and coordinate across multiple internal and external teams to VM.
  • Collaborates with senior subdivision leadership to capture feedback, reviews, and approvals of monthly, quarterly, and/or yearly performance reporting.
  • Assist with the design, coding, and maintenance of the PA&E SharePoint based application UIs, coding or altering custom web parts/modules, and the development/maintenance of applications.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Participant must be in the NORVA / NCR area.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in fields related to performance management, customer experience, and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively document processes, procedures, and external reference documentation.
  • Familiar with knowledge management tools (including but not limited to ServiceNow, SharePoint, O365 Suite, etc.)
  • Enjoys interacting across groups to come up with effective solutions, performs solution testing, and training.
  • Bonus qualifications: Project Management, PowerBI, Tableau, Qualtrics

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY

Participant must be in the NORVA / NCR area. Secret clearance required. Minimum 1 year experience in fields related to performance management, customer experience and strategic planning.
