The Human Resource Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the Human Resources department by focusing on the technical and administrative aspects of our HR functions. This position is designed for an analytical, detail-oriented individual who excels in the technical facets of HR, including compliance, data management, HR systems, safety, payroll, and benefits administration. Working closely with the HR Manager, the Human Resource Specialist will ensure the effective execution of these foundational HR responsibilities, allowing the department to deliver strategic, people-centric initiatives smoothly.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the company's objectives and comply with employment laws and regulations• Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent• Manage employee relations and address any workplace concerns, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions• Develop and monitor performance management and appraisal systems to support employee growth and development• Ensure the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing and benefits administration• Provide guidance and support to management and employees regarding HR matters, such as policies, procedures, and legal compliance• Plan, coordinate, and conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge• Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for improvement
