OAX Aerospace, is a rapidly growing Veteran Owned Business and has an immediate need for a Project Director to support multiple business divisions for both government and civilian agencies through consulting, services, and systems development. The Project Director is responsible to ensure rapid coordination, installation, and continued sustainment for the goals and objectives of current projects and government contract.
ABOUT THE JOB
Employs operational and technical expertise of Air Force 4th and 5th generation platforms to help develop hardware and software solutions for aerospace purposes. Collaborates with team members to identify, define, and develop requirements, materials, and solutions to align with the customer's mission and ensure customer success. Plans and directs activities involved with development, application and procurement of materials, and products. Defines, recommends, and secures contractual agreements for services and products. Maintains communication and good relationship with vendors and suppliers. Successfully executes projects on-budget and schedule. Maintains knowledge of complex industry trends, current technology trends and updates management on technologies that could impact company business. Promotes teamwork and unity among members that allows for conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, supportiveness, and working effectively together to enable each employee to succeed

QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Must have a current TS/SCI and SAP security clearance.
- Required Experience: F-35 Fighter pilot and instructor; virtual reality simulator training
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY
Location: The Project Director is a remote position and reports directly to the company President. Travel: Ability to travel up to 30% of the time. The company will pay travel expenses. Security Clearance: The Project Director must have a current TS/SCI and SAP security clearance. Required Experience: F-35 Fighter pilot and instructor; virtual reality simulator training
