This program prepares transitioning service members for civilian IT support roles by providing structured, progressive training in Tier 1–2 help desk operations, cloud technologies, and CMMC‑aligned security practices. The curriculum builds practical troubleshooting skills, documentation habits, and hands‑on experience with modern enterprise systems. The goal is to equip participants with the competencies required for entry‑level IT support positions in both commercial and government‑regulated environments.
Help Desk & User Support Provide Tier 1–2 troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues Manage user onboarding, account creation, permissions, and password resets Monitor and triage help desk tickets, escalating to senior staff when necessary Support both on‑site and remote employees across multiple locations Document issues, resolutions, and updates to the IT knowledge base Cloud Migration & System Modernization Assist with rollout, configuration, and support of cloud‑based applications Help users adopt new cloud tools and workflows Perform system testing, device readiness checks, and software updates Maintain documentation as systems transition to cloud platforms Compliance & Security Support Maintain accurate hardware, software, and user account inventories Verify system configurations and security settings under established procedures Collect and organize evidence for CMMC audits Update IT procedures, access control records, and compliance documentation System Maintenance & Operational Efficiency Perform routine system checks, patching assistance, and device configuration Maintain asset records and support lifecycle management Improve IT workflows through updated documentation, templates, and SOPs Contribute to basic automation or scripting for repetitive tasks (optional but valued)
