The Talent Acquisition Specialist SkillBridge Internship at Native Imaging Services provides transitioning service members with hands-on experience in corporate talent acquisition, recruiting operations, and workforce planning. Participants will work directly with the Director of Operations to design and implement a structured recruiting process that supports the organization’s workforce growth and operational needs.This program provides practical training in civilian recruiting practices, including candidate sourcing, recruitment workflow development, applicant tracking systems, and full-cycle hiring processes. Participants will leverage their military recruiting experience while learning how private-sector organizations develop and manage talent acquisition strategies.Through mentorship and applied training, the participant will assist in building a scalable recruiting infrastructure for Native Imaging Services while developing skills necessary for a civilian career in talent acquisition, human resources, or recruiting operations.
Participants interested in the Talent Acquisition Specialist SkillBridge Internship should meet the following prerequisites to ensure success in the program:Must be an active-duty service member approved for participation in the DoD SkillBridge Program.Command approval to participate in the SkillBridge internship during the final 180 days of military service.Basic experience in recruiting, personnel management, administration, or talent development is preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and leadership.Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive personnel information.Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar business software.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.Interest in pursuing a civilian career in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, or Human Resources.
