The BRM/PM bridges the gap between business units and IT, helping to ensure that technology projects meet the needs of program areas and align with strategic goals.Key Responsibilities:Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teamsAssist with planning, execution, and tracking of IT projectsGather and document business requirementsCoordinate meetings, facilitate discussions, and communicate progress to stakeholdersSupport the development of project schedules, deliverables, and status reportsIdentify and help resolve risks or issues related to project scope or timelinesContribute to continuous improvement and IT service alignment effortsDesired Skills and Qualifications:Experience in a leadership, coordination, or planning role (military or civilian)Strong written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of basic project management principles (Agile, Waterfall, PMI, etc.)Ability to build relationships and work with diverse teamsProficiency in tools such as Microsoft Teams, Excel, SharePoint, or project tracking softwareInterest in public service, digital transformation, and IT operationsWhat You’ll Gain:Civilian project management and stakeholder engagement experienceExposure to enterprise IT strategy in a public-sector environmentInsight into IT governance, process improvement, and service deliveryMentorship from experienced state IT professionalsOpportunities to build your professional network and transition more confidently into a civilian role
RESPONSIBILITIES
