Veterans Alliance - Internship Program
As a full-cycle recruiter, you’ll manage the entire hiring process—from sourcing and screening candidates to onboarding and ongoing support. You’ll match talent to client needs, prepare candidates for interviews, present offers, and ensure a smooth start. Post-placement, you’ll provide regular check-ins, address performance issues, and handle terminations if needed. Strong communication, organization, and leadership are key to success in this role.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a full-cycle recruiter, you will play a vital role in connecting transitioning service members and civilian candidates with opportunities in the Aviation, Aerospace, and Defense industries. This role offers hands-on experience in the end-to-end recruiting process, preparing you for a successful civilian career.Key Responsibilities:Source & Engage Talent – Identify, reach out to, and build relationships with qualified candidates through databases, social media, and professional networks.Evaluate & Align – Review experience and conduct in-depth conversations to assess skills, cultural fit, and alignment with client needs.Guide the Process – Present opportunities with transparency, set clear expectations, and prepare candidates for interviews.Support & Onboard – Coordinate submissions, facilitate offer presentations, and assist with compliance and onboarding for a smooth transition.Maintain Relationships – Conduct regular check-ins to ensure candidate success and client satisfaction.Problem-Solve Professionally – Address performance challenges through coaching, and manage escalations or terminations with professionalism and compliance.What You’ll Gain:Hands-on training in professional recruitingExperience managing the full hiring process from sourcing to placementLeadership, communication, and client-service skills that transfer directly to a post-military careerThis SkillBridge opportunity is ideal for transitioning service members who want to develop valuable recruiting expertise while making an impact in the careers of others.
