Earn real-world industry qualifications Build hands-on experience in construction management Expand your professional network Gain familiarity with corporate culture and construction best practices Functions Patriots Choice LLC is seeking motivated interns to work and learn at our Harlan, IA facility and nearby jobsites, providing hands-on experience in residential and commercial construction. The successful candidate will participate in structured on-the-job training and classroom instruction to develop practical skills in carpentry and general construction. This internship will last between 4 – 12 weeks and can commence within 90 days before leaving active-duty service.
The Construction Manager will plan, direct or coordinate, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities and systems. Participates in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversees its organization, scheduling, budgeting and implementation. Includes managers in specialized construction fields, such as carpentry or plumbing.
Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs occasionally and have a valid drivers license to drive insured vehicles and equipment on job sites.
