ABOUT THE JOB

Job Title: Headphones and Accessories Software Quality EngineerJob Summary:Join our Sensing and Connectivity team and drive innovation that matters. We craft and seamlessly integrate technologies that enrich people’s lives and deliver the best user experience. The Headphones and Accessories Quality Engineering team is looking for a motivated Integrity or Automation Engineer with the ability to seek solutions to unusual problems, test and maintain next-generation personal audio, UX/UI, and connectivity solutions. You will be responsible for creating and delivering world-changing experiences on the very latest Apple products.
Job Description:As a Quality Engineer for the Headphones and Accessories team, you will focus on testing AirPods products across our vast Apple product ecosystem. Your key responsibilities include: designing and executing automated and manual test plans, validating complex user scenarios and features, triaging for any discrepancies, as well as monitoring and driving customer issues. You will complete both documented and ad hoc testing to ensure high-quality releases. Drive quality and champion bug fixes, working closely with Engineering and cross-functional teams to analyze the root causes for the issues.
Minimum Qualifications:Experience coding in C++, Python, or similar programming languages.Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, or similar).Domain expertise in one of these areas preferred: Bluetooth, Audio, Wireless RF protocols.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.Self-motivated, dedicated with validated creative and critical thinking capabilitiesProven track record in defining robust test plans and delivering high-quality outcomesDeep understanding of Software QA methodologies & practicesExcellent problem-solving and debugging skillsDemonstrated ability to lead a complete functional area of an application or productExcellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skillsExcellent teammate who would thrive in a reciprocal environmentEfficient time management and organization, ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environmentLaser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customersObsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to pursue everyday problems in innovative ways.Passionate about consumer products and technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES
