Business Development Consultant
The Business Development Consultant at Lamacchia Realty is responsible for actively prospecting and recruiting real estate agents to join the company. This role involves making a minimum of 70 calls per week to prospective agents, conducting at least 5 prospecting appointments, and maintaining ongoing communication with previous hires to promote retention. The consultant will attend industry events, host group gatherings, and engage on social media to enhance Lamacchia’s visibility and foster relationships with real estate professionals. Additionally, they will collaborate with the Business Development Team and other internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new recruits and contribute to refining recruitment strategies. Regular reporting, staying informed about local market trends, and fostering a positive, high-energy culture are key responsibilities of this role.
ABOUT THE JOB
Agent Prospecting Expectations:• Make a minimum of 70 calls per week to prospective agents.• Conduct at least 5 agent prospecting appointments per week• Enter all appointments into HUB• Maintain ongoing communication with previous hires to foster retention and engagement, with a focus on communication with the 2% referral program participants.Agent Recruitment & Relationship Building:• Attend meetings with producing real estate agents to show them the unique value of Lamacchia Realty and how it can help accelerate their success.• Host and attend group luncheons, happy hours, training courses, and Realtor and other industry events to establish relationships and grow Lamacchia's brand presence in the market.• Actively engage on social media platforms to promote company content, including LR and Crush It materials.• Build and nurture relationships through consistent communication on platforms such as Facebook Messenger.• Enhance BDC's visibility and broaden BDC’s professional network by establishing connections with real estate professionals across different markets.Collaboration & Reporting:• When a new recruit is obtained work with onboarding to ensure a smooth transition into the company. • Attend weekly meetings with the Business Development Team to review progress, align on goals, and share insights on recruiting activities and agent prospects.• Attend other meetings and collaborate with regional managers, office managers and other staff members to ensure continued agent success. • Daily updates in LamacchiaHub and send a detailed email update every Monday by 8am, outlining the past week’s activities, meetings, calls, and agent interactions.• Submit weekly progress reports, including the number of calls made, appointments set, and agent meetings completed.Additional Responsibilities:• Stay informed about local market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth.• Work closely with the rest of the Business Development Team to refine recruitment messaging, marketing strategies, and other business development efforts.• Foster a positive, high-energy culture that attracts top talent and reflects the Lamacchia Realty brand values.• Keep the SVP and Director of Business Development informed of any installations and board events within the BDC’s respective areas.• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding any information or potential information related to potential or unannounced acquisitions.
