Badgerland Pile is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee projects within our helical screw pile installation and deck construction divisions. This role is ideal for someone with general construction knowledge who is eager to learn specialized systems, manage projects from evaluation through completion, and work hands-on in a growing, family-oriented company.
The Project Manager will be trained to evaluate project scope, timelines, budgets, and site conditions, consult with customers, prepare estimates, and oversee installations to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate project sites for deck construction and helical screw pile installations, including time, budget, and space requirementsConsult with customers and prepare estimates for helical screw pile installationsAnalyze soil conditions and structural loads to determine appropriate pile specificationsOversee and learn the installation process of helical (screw) pilesPrepare and complete load reports following pile installationCoordinate projects from planning through completion, ensuring schedules and budgets are metEnsure compliance with safety procedures, including utility locating requirementsCommunicate effectively with customers, crew members, and company leadershipTraining ProvidedHelical screw pile systems and installation proceduresSoil evaluation and load analysisSafety training and jobsite best practicesUtility location procedures and complianceQualificationsGeneral construction knowledge preferredStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to learn technical installation and reporting processesComfortable working both in the field and in an office settingValid driver’s license requiredReliable, self-motivated, and able to work well in a small team environmentWhat We OfferHands-on training in a specialized and growing area of constructionOpportunity to grow with a family-owned businessVaried work between field operations, project planning, and customer consultationSupportive team environment with direct involvement from ownership
