AMR Logistics Operations is a fast moving and dynamic environment where flexibility and adaptability are key attributes for success. Regional Supply Managers oversee service providers for logistics operations related to inbound/outbound transportation, distribution, and/or post sales returns. Individuals must be customer focused, process-minded, and passionate for excellence. The candidate must be able to work towards achieving targets while demonstrating personal initiative with a focus on driving superior customer service and process efficiency. Additionally, candidates must have laser focus on supporting the key tactical and strategic initiatives including: Customer Delight, Process Excellence (Precision), Cost Leadership and Continuous Improvement.
(E3) Regional Supplier Manager Description:- Management of designated Logistics projects and programs to improve overall logistics execution to improve customer satisfaction- Development and execution of appropriate SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) in Americas transportation network in support of the various AMR business segments- Responsible for managing supplier SOW (Statement of Work) requirements and ensuring performance goals and key performance indicators are met.- Working and planning with supplier base on key events such as Peak season and New Product Introductions.- Development and execution of transportation strategy in support of Americas Logistics region- Tactical management of critical delivery events to ensure cost optimal, on time delivery service.- Working with cross functional teams within the Americas Operations team to introduce, develop and implement new transportation programs while also providing key business management reporting on the Americas transportation network performance.- Management of weekly and monthly supplier related meetings including setting priorities and key actions.- Partnering with Finance team on identifying and implementing quantifiable cost savings.- Development of team dashboards using Tableau/ThoughtSpot to improve overall Apple service to customersBS Required with 5 years minimum experience in transportation/logistics industry -Should be systems literate such as TMS and/or sea freight management software, track and trace tools, as well as possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.-Formal continuous improvement background (Six Sigma or LEAN) with a focus on root cause analysis is highly desired.
