Assist CTI’s civil inspection team in supporting public infrastructure projects at Orlando International Airport. Interns will gain field experience in construction quality assurance, safety, and documentation while working alongside licensed inspectors and engineers.
As a Civil Inspector Intern, you will:Support daily field inspections of civil construction activities (e.g., concrete, grading, trenching, paving)Help document site conditions, contractor activity, and materials usedReview and interpret construction plans, specifications, and drawingsLearn to identify quality issues and verify compliance with FAA, FDOT, and GOAA standardsParticipate in site safety briefings, toolbox talks, and contractor meetingsAssist in preparing reports, daily logs, and as-built documentationWork under the guidance of senior inspectors and project managers on a live airport projectThis is a hands-on internship ideal for transitioning service members or veterans interested in construction management, civil engineering, or public infrastructure careers.
Must pass a background check to obtain GOAA site access badgeComfortable working in outdoor construction environmentsValid driver’s license requiredExperience in Seabees, RED HORSE, Prime BEEF, or construction-related MOS/AFSCs preferred but not required
