Project Manager
Summit Exercises and Training (SummitET) is seeking motivated individuals for a 12-week Project Manager Intern program designed to provide immersive, hands-on experience in real-world project management. This intensive training combines mentorship, workshops, simulations, and direct project execution to build core competencies in budgeting, communication, leadership, risk management, and technical documentation.Interns will work alongside experienced program managers, engage in collaborative planning, and lead project tasks using industry-standard tools like Microsoft Excel and SharePoint. By the end of the program, participants will have developed the skills necessary to manage complex projects and contribute effectively to organizational goals.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.- Translate programmatic goals into measurable project metrics to assess performance and drive continuous improvement.- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of project activities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.- Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.-Manage the development and delivery of project-related materials, including presentations, documentation, and reports.-Facilitate effective communication with internal teams and external partners to ensure clarity and alignment.-Conduct post-project evaluations, including lessons learned and performance reviews, to inform future initiatives.-Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.Ensure team members are equipped with the necessary tools, time, and support to meet project milestones.-Promote professional development by offering opportunities for team members to observe, contribute, and lead.-Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and project teams to ensure strategic alignment and successful outcomes.-Identify and implement new initiatives that support the strategic direction of the organization.Contribute to strategic planning by providing insights, recommendations, and data-driven analysis.-Monitor and improve project performance by implementing quality, productivity, and customer service standards.-Resolve project-related issues, identify trends, and recommend system or process improvements.Develop and maintain project documentation, including policies, procedures, and templates.-Support team development through onboarding, training, performance management, and coaching.Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and contractual obligations.-Foster a collaborative and positive team culture aligned with the organization’s values.Stay current with industry trends and best practices through ongoing professional development.-Coordinate with other departments to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution.
