ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Youth Sports Photographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports photography, excellent technical skills, and a keen eye for capturing memorable moments. As a Youth Sports Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing dynamic images of youth athletes in action, ensuring the highest standards of quality and creativity.Responsibilities:• Attend youth sports events and tournaments to capture compelling photographs of athletes in action.• Set up photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and lighting, to ensure optimal image quality.• Work closely with coaches and event organizers to coordinate photography schedules and assignments.• Capture a variety of shots, including action shots, portraits, and candid moments, to tell the story of each event.• Edit and retouch photographs using industry-standard software to enhance their quality and appeal.• Organize and maintain a digital library of images, ensuring accurate metadata and file organization.• Collaborate with our creative team to develop marketing materials and promotional content featuring your photography.Qualifications:• Previous experience in sports photography, particularly youth sports, is highly desirable.• Proficiency with photography equipment, including DSLR cameras, lenses, and lighting accessories.• Strong technical skills in digital photography, including exposure, composition, and post-processing techniques.• Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or Capture One.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as many youth sports events take place during these times.• Reliable transportation to travel to different event locations as needed.
