Information Technology (IT) Specialist

Establishing, implementing, and interpreting requirements for agency compliance with higher-level policy directives and executive orders. Evaluating security architectures and designs to determine the adequacy of security design and architecture proposed. Providing system-related input on cybersecurity requirements to be included in statements of work and other appropriate procurement documents. Providing technical documents, incident reports, findings from computer examinations, summaries, and other situational awareness information to higher headquarters. Recognizing a possible security violation and take appropriate action to report the incident, as required.Experience establishing, implementing, and interpreting requirements for agency compliance with higher-level policy directives and executive orders governing infrastructure protection, planning, and leading efforts to address security issues in new cyber-crime areas where precedents do not exist, and establishing new security concepts and approaches. • Experience planning and leading efforts to address security issues in new cyber-crime areas where precedents do not exist.
• Experience establishing new security concepts and approaches.
• Experience evaluating security architectures and designs to determine the adequacy of security design and architecture proposed or provided in response to requirements contained in acquisition documents.
