Management Analyst
This role is responsible for working between our vendors and internalstakeholders in order to keep expanding the USF Direct assortment. This isdone by gathering new item information, images, videos and other content, andthen creating new items and loading them in our systems so that they can besold to customers. USF Direct is our direct-ship eCommerce channel, providing customers withonline access to an endless aisle assortment of items, all shipped quickly withclear tracking information directly to their location.
ABOUT THE JOB
Manage the process of item creation to support sales growth with new vendors. Thisincludes working with vendors to gather all appropriate item information, structuring thedata correctly to be set up in US Foods systems, and working with the PIM (Product InfoMgmt.) team to get it loaded so that the items can be sold to customers.•Work with all existing vendors to understand where new items are being stocked at each oftheir locations and identifying the optimal sourcing option where multiple vendors stock thesame item. Subsequently, working with Merchandising Managers and Operations analyststo be set up accurately in the system to sell to customers•Having complete item information is critical when selling online. Drive rich item content forall items so that customers have all the information they need for each item. This includesgathering all necessary item content (information, images, videos, nutritional, etc.) fromvendors and working across different teams to get it visible in eCom.•Identify complementary items across the assortment in order to grow sales, highlightingitems that customers are not currently purchasing that accompany items that they arealready buying•Establish substitution items across the USF Direct assortment, providing customers withalternate options when their first choice is not available.• Other duties as assigned by manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
