The Nutri-Feeds SkillBridge Operations Manager Internship is a hands-on, in-person training opportunity designed for transitioning Service Members interested in manufacturing, logistics, and operations leadership.Participants will train alongside experienced leaders in an animal feed production environment, gaining real-world exposure to daily plant operations, production planning, inventory management, shipping and receiving, maintenance coordination, and team leadership.This program is structured as on-the-job training (OJT) with progressive responsibility and mentorship. The goal is to prepare the Service Member for a civilian Operations Manager or Production Supervisor role upon completion of SkillBridge.This internship does not guarantee employment; however, successful completion may lead to full-time employment opportunities based on performance and company needs.
The Operations Manager SkillBridge Intern will participate in hands-on, full-time training within an animal feed manufacturing and distribution operation. The Service Member will work directly with company leadership to learn and assist with daily operations, production planning, logistics, inventory management, safety, and personnel coordination.Training will include exposure to feed mill operations, raw material receiving, finished product shipping, quality control processes, equipment maintenance coordination, and compliance with safety and operational standards.The intern will progressively assume greater responsibility throughout the program, developing leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills consistent with an Operations Manager or Production Supervisor role.This position is structured as on-the-job training (OJT) and mentorship. It is intended to prepare the Service Member for post-military employment in manufacturing or operations leadership.
Must be able to participate full-time and in-person. Strong work ethic, professionalism, and willingness to learn in a manufacturing environment required.
