THIS POSITION IS 100% REMOTE! Any follow-on employment will require relocation to Arlington, VA.A member of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Infrastructure Security Exercise Branch supports CISAs efforts to enhance the security, resiliency, and reliability of the Nation’s cyber and physical infrastructure. Students will learn the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program and participate in the planning and conduct of emergency preparedness exercises for Critical Infrastructure spanning the entire nation.
This position is located within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Infrastructure Security Division. CISA is the Nation’s risk advisor, working with partners to defend against today’s threats and collaborating with industry to build more secure and resilient infrastructure for the future. CISA works with partners across industry and government to understand and manage risk to our critical infrastructure from a constantly evolving range of threats to include natural hazards, terrorism, nation state adversaries, and more. • Manage, plan, facilitate, and executes all-hazards exercises on behalf of DHS. These exercises require the coordination and participation of private sector partners, state and local first responders, as well as other Federal agencies. • Craft exercise scenarios of evolving threats and the potential impacts of those threats on various communities, example include active shooter exercises, vehicle ramming, threats from Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS’s), and more.• This role supports personnel with significant responsibilities in dealing with officials of other units or organizations, private sector and intergovernmental organization leadership, and in advising management officials of higher rank.
