Sous Chef and Winemaker
ABOUT THE JOB
The Sous Chef works with the Chef to ensure consistently smooth kitchen operations. This is accomplished through ensuring the kitchen team is engaged and learning, guests are satisfied and returning, kitchen is clean and equipment is maintained, and costs of goods sold are in line with target percentages set by owners. The Sous Chef will also work with the Head winemaker to learn the science and art of winemaking.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Chef to ensure consistently smooth kitchen operations.
- Ensure the kitchen team is engaged and learning.
- Ensure guests are satisfied and returning.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment.
- Keep costs of goods sold in line with target percentages set by owners.
- Work with the Head winemaker to learn the science and art of winemaking.
