ABOUT THE JOB
The Superintendent/QC/SSHO II will manage the mid-size/moderate complexity projects for Semper Tek Inc. This role oversees the total construction effort to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the project documents, budget, schedule, and to the satisfaction of the client. It is expected that this individual will effectively communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. The Superintendent/QC/SSHO II is responsible for the overall safety and quality of the project and may supervise Superintendents/QC/SSHO I.Roles/Responsibilities• Manage mid-size projects• Oversees total construction efforts and ensures adherence to project documents such as budget, schedule, and client satisfaction.• Oversees all safety and quality of a project• May supervise Field Managers’ I (Superintendents/QC/SSHO)• Responsible for ensuring that a safe workplace remains the top priority by supporting policies, procedures, and practices. Ensure jobsite safety is meeting or exceeding OSHA regulations/EM385 regulations and STI’s Safety Program.• Manage multiple job projects with a client campus.• Maintain client relationships.• Plan and establish the flow of work activities.• Monitor and update the project schedule to take advantage of opportunities that will reduce the critical path.• Arrange for and schedule inspections by government officials.• Coordinate all field activities.• Plan and set up an efficient jobsite layout.• Maintain a clean and orderly project.• Conduct weekly subtrade meetings to plan, organize, control the assigned project.• Maintain daily logs to document all jobsite activities and events.• Implements and maintain all quality control programs and life safety checkout procedures.• Verify materials arriving onsite match approved submittals.• Maintain a working relationship with Trade Partners.• Review monthly billings and projections with the Project Manager and take action to effectively manage job costs.• Proactive approach in identifying and solving field issues with subcontractors and/or project documents.• Enforce the STI’s Drug, Alcohol, and Harassment policies.• Ensure ICRA standards are properly implemented.
RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS
- OSHA 30 Hour (will acquire during internship).
- Ability to read, analyze & interpret federal contract documents, federal safety rules (including EM385), operating & maintenance instructions, & procedure manuals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- First Aid/CPR Certified.
- 5-10 years of experience autonomously managing successful construction projects, preferably with a degree in Building Science, Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY

OTHER
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud. The proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be required when exposed to the above conditions in accordance with OSHA and EM-385 safety provisions.*Must pass a federal background check and drug screen.
