ABOUT THE JOB

A medical director and/or Department Chairman is a physician executive that oversees a teamor department of same-specialty clinicians (physicians, APP’s, ancillary staff) in a clinicalenvironment with active patient care. The medical director is a clinical provider, and thechairman may still be a clinical provider, actively treating patients and also is the team leader forall administrative and leadership responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees a team or department of same-specialty clinicians (physicians, APP’s, ancillary staff) in a clinical environment with active patient care.
• Acts as a clinical provider.
• Leads all administrative and leadership responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Board certified
• More than 7 years experience in clinical practice in the medical field

Board certified, > 7 years experience clinical practice in medical field
