This 180‑day SkillBridge Program Management Track prepares transitioning service members for civilian project management careers by building core PM competencies, developing proficiency with Microsoft 365 project tools, translating military leadership into effective stakeholder and communication skills, and providing guided preparation for certifications such as Certified Scrum Master and PMP. The Command to Career Program Management Track is a structured 180‑day DoD SkillBridge opportunity designed to prepare transitioning service members for civilian careers as IT Project Managers. Through a blended approach of technical training, professional development, mentorship, and practical application, participants build the competencies required to excel in modern project management roles. The program develops core project management skills, introduces industry‑standard tools within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, strengthens civilian communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities, and provides comprehensive support toward professional certifications such as Certified Scrum Master and Project Management Professional (PMP).Participants progress through a phased learning model, including foundational instruction, advanced project methodologies, Agile and Scrum training, hands‑on exercises, and real‑world project exposure under the guidance of an experienced mentor. In addition to technical readiness, the program integrates resume development, interview coaching, networking strategies, and job‑placement preparation to support a smooth transition into the civilian workforce. Upon completion of this program and selection by Vamonos IT for a Program Manager position, the candidate will be eligible for a competitive salary of $110,000-$130,000 per year and full benefits.
