This program offers technical training on emergency communication platforms, including emergency call handling/dispatch systems and Mass Notification systems. Trainees act as the first point of contact for technical support in a 24x7x365 operational environment. Their duties involve troubleshooting technical issues, documenting all interactions accurately, and maintaining clear communication to ensure operational continuity for a global user base.
Trainees will work alongside experienced Systems Analysts and Information Technology (IT) professionals who provide mentorship and guidance on supporting emergency communication systems. The focus is on acquiring an understanding of the technical and operational aspects of emergency communication and IT systems. By the end of the program, participants will have gained critical technical skills and system-specific knowledge, preparing them for roles as Tier I Systems Analysts in the fields of Emergency Communications support or IT especially within the defense /federal sectors.
Active DoD Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance. Minimum education: High School Diploma. Must have valid Driver’s License.
Hands-on training in IT and Engineering in the Emergency Communications domain. 12 weeks of training in emergency communications hardware and/or software support, culminating in competency as a Level 1 Emergency Communication Systems Analyst.
