ABOUT THE JOB
Serving as HR/Mission Support within the Office of Human Capital (OHC) Strategic Recruitment and Retention Unit (SRRU) offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruitment, non-competitive hiring processes, new employee orientation, Pathways program and various veterans programs. This role enables you to build valuable connections with experienced professionals, government officials, and peers—relationships that can pave the way for future career advancements.During this experience, you will cultivate critical workplace skills like project management, teamwork, communication, and data analysis while navigating the intricacies of federal HR operations. Additionally, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the federal government's policies, procedures, and organizational culture, which is particularly valuable for those considering a career as an HR professional in the federal government.A successful tenure as HR/Mission Support within OHC demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and the ability to excel in a complex, dynamic environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
