ABOUT THE JOB

Patrolling: Officers regularly patrol assigned areas to deter and detect criminal activity, ensuring community safety.Responding to Calls: They respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing assistance and support as needed.Investigating Crimes: Officers investigate crimes by collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing reports for legal proceedings.Enforcing Laws: They enforce traffic laws, issue citations, and make arrests when necessary to uphold the law.Community Engagement: Officers often engage with the community to build trust, educate the public on safety measures, and participate in crime prevention initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

  • U.S. Citizen
  • 21 years old prior to graduating the academy
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • No felony convictions or serious misdemeanors
