This 12-week SkillBridge Project Management Internship provides transitioning service members with hands-on training in project coordination, customer engagement, risk management, safety integration, and operational planning within a complex test and range environment. Participants gain practical experience supporting project execution, stakeholder communication, scheduling, documentation, and supervised capstone activities that build readiness for civilian project management roles.
The Project Manager serves as the link between specialized customers and the range environment. This role oversees the research, development, and testing of autonomous systems and full-spectrum effectors while aligning physical and electronic mission objectives with safety protocols. Key duties include customer liaison support, airspace deconfliction and real-time separation, mission synchronization, Operational Risk Management (ORM), on-site Range Control Officer (RCO) authority during multi-domain effects synchronization, and oversight of lethal and non-lethal effects integration and hazard management.
