Field Service Technician Trainee

Upon completion of the FST training, SkillBridge members will be prepared for a role as a Commercial HVAC FST. While in the role of FST Trainee, you will train in detail with a mentor. You will gain a knowledge of HVAC/R, electrical systems, ability to read commercial wiring schematics, use power tools and hand tools, work in outside conditions and in tight spaces, use ladders for roof access.

The job duties of a Field Service Technician include: Commissioning of new ventilation and HVAC equipment Repair, replace and trouble-shoot existing HVAC equipment Measure air flow and adjust to design specifications Develop and maintain service schedule Prepare and submit job reports and invoices daily

Travel notes: Completion of internship will require physical work in the field daily, typically local or within 200-mile radius of service center. Transportation or miles reimbursement provided for all travel incurred. One week will be spent in Raleigh, NC at the CASS New Hire Boot Camp Course. All travel expenses will be covered by CAS.
