The Project Manager (PM) position is responsible for working collaboratively with field personnel to meet both project and company objectives. PE levels 1/2/3 are an established career advancement progression based on experience and skill development.
GENERAL SUMMARY The Project Manager (PM) position is responsible for working collaboratively with field personnel to meet both project and company objectives. PE levels 1/2/3 are an established career advancement progression based on experience and skill development. SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES A candidate’s placement/progression through the PE1/PE2/PE3 levels are based on a level of experience and skills in the following areas: · Document control (drawings, RFI’s, documentation) · Conduct project status review meetings · Project planning and scheduling · Change order management · Material procurement and subcontractor coordination · Safety & Quality Control processes · Project finances and cost estimating SPECIFIC TASKS AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES include any/all the following: · Commit to on-going growth and learning. · Assist in setting up and maintaining project files and records. · Attend and/or conduct project meetings and take meeting minutes. · Issue correspondence, reports and other items requested. · Submit RFI’s and maintain RFI log. · Prepare and submit final closeout documents, as-builts and O&M’s. · Obtain building and other construction permits. · Coordinate and schedule deliveries. · Prepare, log, and manage product submittals and shop drawings. · Prepare, price, and negotiate project change orders (with PM oversight). · Prepare layout drawings and other documents. · Prepare and maintain project schedules. · Assist PM and learn about project cost management. · Represent Dynalectric in a professional manner. · Assist other teams and departments as required to maintain a smooth organizational workflow.
