The Specialized Transportation Services Technical Leadership Fellowship is a 120-day immersive program designed for transitioning service members seeking to pivot into Technical Program Management (TPM) and Software Engineering within the high-growth healthcare logistics sector. This program bridges the gap between complex military operational planning and civilian software development life cycles (SDLC). Candidates will be embedded directly into our operations and technology teams, gaining hands-on experience in managing HIPAA-compliant data systems, optimizing real-time dispatching algorithms, and leading cross-functional projects that directly impact patient care access.
As a Systems Engineer, you will serve as the primary link between our operational fleet requirements and our technical software solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:Systems Integration: Managing and auditing API data flows between national medical brokers and our internal dispatching engine to ensure 100% data integrity.Agile Project Leadership: Facilitating sprint planning and backlog grooming for internal tool development, ensuring that software updates meet the rigorous demands of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) regulations.Technical Optimization: Utilizing SQL and data visualization tools to analyze fleet "On-Time Performance" (OTP) and identifying code-based or process-based solutions to improve routing efficiency.Compliance Engineering: Ensuring all technical workflows adhere to strict HIPAA privacy standards and Medicaid billing requirements.
