Launch your civilian career with OISFederal, the federal division of Obey Imaging Supplies, Inc. This in-person SkillBridge opportunity in Huntington Beach, California, provides hands-on training in federal business development, customer relationship management, and procurement support through a combination of office-based work and supervised field activities.Our priority is to develop participants into permanent members of our team. We seek transitioning service members interested in building a long-term career with OISFederal following successful completion of training. Permanent employment is based on performance, mutual fit, and available positions.
As a Federal Business Development Associate, you will learn to help federal and military customers obtain the products and support they need to accomplish their missions. Training emphasizes customer value: saving time, controlling costs, and providing dependable service.During the 24-week program, participants will:• Learn federal purchasing methods, government customer requirements, and OISFederal’s products and capabilities.• Begin supervised telephone outreach during week one, with ongoing coaching and feedback.• Identify purchasing contacts, establish professional connections, and understand customer buying methods and supply needs.• Reconnect with previous customers and introduce OISFederal’s dedicated website and request-for-quote process.• Learn to research products, coordinate sourcing, support quote preparation, and follow up on customer requests.• Maintain accurate customer records, document conversations, and organize follow-up activities in our CRM.• Participate in supervised customer visits and other field activities as appropriate.• Develop communication, account management, organization, and civilian career skills through practical assignments and regular performance reviews.Most training takes place in the office through telephone outreach, customer follow-up, and procurement support, supplemented by field activities. This is an in-person opportunity requiring attendance at the Huntington Beach location.We prefer to hire successful participants into permanent positions after training. Our goal is to build lasting careers and grow our team; completion of the program does not guarantee an employment offer.

Applicants must meet applicable SkillBridge participation requirements and obtain required command approval before beginning training. Participants must be available for in-person attendance at the designated location and demonstrate professional communication, basic computer proficiency, reliability, willingness to learn, and comfort developing telephone and customer-facing skills. All military occupational backgrounds are welcome.
