Unmanned Aircraft System Operator

To expose the participant to the USSS Enabling Unmanned Aircraft Systems (EUAS) mission in support of Secret Service protective operations.

ABOUT THE JOB

The United States Secret Service Aviation and Airspace Security Division will develop, coordinate, and implement airspace security plans for sites visited by the President and Vice President of the United States or other designated USSS protectees. Additionally, the USSS has the responsibility for developing an airspace security plan at National Special Security Events (NSSE’s) and other major events when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES✨

• Develop, coordinate, and implement airspace security plans for sites visited by the President and Vice President of the United States or other designated USSS protectees.
• Develop an airspace security plan at National Special Security Events (NSSE's) and other major events when required.

QUALIFICATIONS✨

• Unexpired FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate or military flight experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to hold and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY

Participant must have an unexpired FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate or military flight experience and a valid drivers’ license.
